I am a first year Ph.D. student and a Graduate Student Assistant with a specialization in data science in the Department of Information Science at the University of North Texas. My research interests include information retrieval, text mining and big data analysis. I earned my Bachelor of Science from Central China Normal University and my Master of Science from Wuhan University, China, both in Information Science. During my graduate career, I have taken part in three research projects on citation analysis funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China. I have also published seven articles. Among these, one was a conference paper published at the International Conference on Knowledge Management, and six were published on three Chinese Social Science Citation Index (CSSCI) journals in China related to citation analysis, automatic summarization and user interest identification. Besides this, I am also the reviewer of a peer review as well as a SSCI journal named The Electrical Library.
